Eligibility Criteria

- A degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a recognized university or institution.
- The degree must be included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

Experience

The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-10 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), along with Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA).

Duties and Responsibilities

The Medical Officer (Ayurveda) will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Imparting theoretical and practical instructions to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.

2. Conducting and guiding research work in the field of Ayurveda.

3. Rendering patient care in the specialty of Ayurveda.

4. Performing any other duties assigned by the authorities from time to time.

Probation and Headquarters

- The selected candidates will undergo a probation period of one year.

- The headquarters for the post is New Delhi. However, candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India as per the requirements of the post.
